Phase 1

Nervous system healing and regulation

To start, we have to bring your body out of survival mode.

Every woman who has gone through this program has been living for months or years in a constant state of stress, hypervigilance, indecision and exhaustion.

When your body senses the threat you’re in, there’s no way you can access the parts of your brain that help you understand and process what is happening.

If a lion is chasing you, all your energy goes toward survival. Not stopping to think about why the lion is chasing you or how you feel about it.

Regulating your nervous system has to be the first step, and likely one that you’ve been missing in traditional talk therapy, the videos you’re watching and the podcasts you’re turning to.

Understanding your patterns

Once the body feels safe, we have access to your rational brain which allows you to find understanding and meaning personalized to you.

Using EFT Tapping and Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work language, we will get curious about your patterns and their roots to help you make sense of why things unfold for you the way they do in relationships and why you get stuck repeating painful cycles.

We will safely revisit your past to help you make sense of your present.

This gives you so much clarity about who you are and how you got so far from yourself.

Once you have clarity, then you know where to focus your attention and will feel agency in making changes so you don’t repeat them.

Feel it to heal it. When you release what’s been held inside, you create space for peace.

Processing your emotions

With your nervous system feeling safe and you having more clarity, we also have access to your emotional brain which allows you to “feel it to heal it.”

We use guided EFT Tapping and IFS language to safely feel and release the parts of your experience with your ex (or your childhood) that left you feeling anxious, confused, rageful, unloveable and unworthy.

We explore all the parts of you who were hurt, betrayed and are grieving and you learn how to give them space to release their pain.

The more space you give these parts of you to heal their pain, the more self-trust you build and the more like yourself you will feel.

01 What if I already know a lot about narcissism and trauma bonds?

That's exactly who Becoming is for.

Most women inside the program practically have a PhD in all things narcissism. The issue isn't lack of knowledge.

The issue is that despite knowing differently, they can't stop doing the same thing that has kept them stuck. Becoming focuses on the emotional, nervous system, and subconscious patterns keeping you attached, so you can finally find yourself and feel in control of yourself again.

02 What if I'm not sure my partner or ex is a narcissist?

This program invites you to refocus your energy onto you after you have spent so much of yourself on a person and relationship that has felt confusing, overwhelming, overpowering, codependent or otherwise toxic or unhealthy.

A narcissistic diagnosis for your partner or ex is not needed for you to find clarity, healing and to come back to you again.

It's not uncommon to wonder if you are the narcissist and/or the problem in the relationship dynamic.
